    The role of the junior planner is to maximize sales and profit by developing sound merchandise plans that support Company goals for sales, turn and margin.

    Primary Skills:           

    • Strong command of retail math concepts and applications
    • Strong statistical analysis skills
    • Strong communication skills
    • Proactive and enthusiastic with strong interest in the retail market
    • Excellent organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving skills key to meeting deadlines
    • Ability to work well within a small team environment
    • Technical skills including proficiency with Excel

    Primary Responsibilities:                                                                                                                              

    • Supporting senior planner with the smooth running of the womenswear division, taking ownership of multiple classes & being able to independently see tasks through to completion unsupervised
    • WSSI management across classes – managing and reforecasting sales and intake weekly ensuring key KPI’s are met and reporting back trading concerns & opportunities. Strong WSSI experience essential.
    • Monitor and evaluate sales of styles on a weekly basis, partnering with the buyer and Planner to effectively manage receipts, inventory and markdown
    • Management of core line flows
    • Managing assortment sheet, ensuring accurate at all times, highlighting any key changes
    • In charge of collating a lessons learnt and strategy documents quarterly
    • Option planning across classes by month ensuring optimum options based on ROS and store capacities
    • Managing the markdown process - identifying lines to markdown while constantly reviewing need for further markdown spend through the sale period
    • Managing and progressing an allocator/assistant
    • Implementing and exploiting new systems and processes

    Education Requirement:   Bachelor's degree preferred
