  • Buying Admin Assistant (entry level) – Home

    As a Buying Admin Assistant you will support the daily operational functions within the Home buying team; to ensure timely delivery of merchandise. You will also learn to develop key cross functional relationships with both internal and external partners in the home office in both the US and the UK.


    Job responsibilities:

    • Responsible for entering (and revising) purchase orders on a timely basis and maintaining data integrity across multiple internal systems.
    • Provide administrative support to the buying team in all areas of the buying department.
    • Develop strong communication skills; build relationships with vendor base and Production team through the following interactions: setting up new vendors and sending them routing guides/pre-ticketing information.
    • Intake management; track Home orders into the business, communicating directly with all stakeholders (freight forwarder, internal Production team, suppliers directly) to ensure stock arrives on time. Work closely with other departmental BAA’s and Merchandising team to ensure receipt changes are communicated in a clear and concise manner.
    • Own-brand sample management; working directly with the internal Production team to track seasonal samples for Press days.
    • Support digital operations; working directly with the Ecommerce team to ensure all product is published to the site in a timely manner, checking the website for copy accuracy.

    • Previous experience in retail or buying office preferred but not essential
    • A Graduate of a relevant degree preferred but not essential
